Screening API

The screening APIs enable you to programmatically integrate BoomScreen into your existing tenant screening workflow and tech stack (e.g., PMS, marketing and syndication tools, etc.).

There are 3 deployment options available for property management software platforms to integrate with BoomScreen.

You can configure your application settings in the Boom Partner Platform. Next, you can programmatically fetch, review, and decide on applications programmatically.

Applicants will use Boom's application process ("applicant experience") to complete their application.

With Boom screening APIs, you are able to:

Best suited for: Tech-forward and large scale property managers who use a custom PMS and want to surface metrics about applicants (e.g., credit score, etc.) in their existing workflow.

You can build your own applicant-facing experience instead of using BoomScreen's applicant experience.

Best suited for: Property managers and proptech companies that want to build their own applicant experience, but leverage the power of Boom's screeningn infrastructure.

You can programmatically control the entire BoomScreen workflow, including configuring application settings.

Best suited for: System of record companies (e.g., PMSs) and advanced property managers that want to own the screening experience end to end for both the property manager and the applicant, while using Boom's underlying infrastructure and consumer reporting agency integrations.
